Electric Wheelchair Repair and Maintenance: M+ Museum, West Kowloon Exhibition Project
Our company was invited by the M+ Museum in West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong, to inspect and refurbish the electric wheelchair components in their exhibit 'Old People's Home'. The electric wheelchair collection was created in 2007, and the designer intended to preserve its aged appearance. Therefore, our engineers and technicians had to spend considerable time studying how to repair and refurbish 26 motors and gearboxes without compromising the overall appearance and structure of the artwork. This was a highly challenging task, ensuring the exhibit could operate continuously throughout its display period.
